Do we have to take inventory and procurement together?
No. Choose the one you need. Inventory keeps count of your stock. Procurement runs your procurements from the annual plan to the contract, and works on its own: goods received against a purchase order are recorded on the order instead of going into stock.
If you need both, the Organisation plan has them in one workspace, so goods from a contract are received straight into stock.
Can we add the other module later?
Yes. Start with one and add the other when you are ready: ask us or ask to subscribe from the Billing page in the app. Everything you entered stays where it is.
What does the free trial include?
Everything: inventory and procurement, every feature, for 30 days. When you sign up, tell us which you need and we suggest the plan to go with it. You can change your mind before you subscribe.
What happens when the trial ends?
Choose a plan and carry on: everything you entered during the trial stays exactly as it is. If you do not choose one, the workspace becomes read-only. Nothing is deleted. You can still sign in, look things up and export your records, and you can subscribe whenever you are ready.
Do I need a card to start?
No. Sign up with your email and start using it. We only talk about payment when you choose a plan.
Can I import my items?
Yes. Bring your item list in from a spreadsheet saved as CSV (Excel can do this), then record what is already on your shelves with a receipt or a stock count. If your list is messy, send it to us and we will help you tidy it up.
Is our data kept separate from other organisations?
Yes. Each organisation has its own workspace and every record is tied to it. People in one workspace cannot see another’s items, documents or people. Read more in our privacy notice.
Can we use our own logo and name?
Yes. Staff see your organisation’s name and logo throughout the app and on printed documents, with only a small “Powered by ShelvesJA” line. On the Organisation plan your colours run through the app as well.
Do you help us set up?
Yes. We can import your items, set up your locations, roles and approval flows, and show your staff around. Tell us what you need or write to hello@shelvesja.com.
Can we change plans later?
Yes. Move up or down, or between modules, as your organisation changes. If you need more people or locations than a plan allows, ask us: we can raise the limit.
How do we pay?
We invoice in Jamaican dollars. Pay by bank transfer, and we will confirm when your subscription is active.
